(This photo art is one of my "ME" series of art. All the "ME" works of art using a single version of a self-portrait of my SecondLife Avatar face and upper bustline. Each "ME" artwork must convey an emotion, human behavior, feeling that my audience must relate to. I have placed restrictions on myself when creating a "ME" peice. I must use the one source photo of my face I first created. I can use it as many times as I want and enhance it any way I want but I cannot use any other photo of my face.)
This mood of "ME" conveys yet another common human behavior that sadly seems to only happen during the darkest, most shameful, scariest, lonelinest, most painful times of our lives. The times in our lives when we are EMOTIONALLY SHATTERED.
Its during these shattered times in our lives that we take time to REFLECT. We reflect upon how we could have got to this state? We might reflect upon how we were so stupid... so careless... so disrespectful... so abusive... so <you fill in your own blank here>.
We humans have a habit to reflect and evaluate our actions and behaviors when forced to... when we have already inflicted our damage upon ourselves or ones we love.
Wouldn't it be nice if we humans were smarter and reflect on our actions as a regularly scheduled process of asking "Are we still good humans in this world?"
But we are human... we must perform Shattered Reflections!
