SecondLife Sculpted Eiffel Tower build seen inside SecondLife @ Les Champs Elysees sim [link]

For those of you that are not familiar with SecondLife, you are looking at a photo of an actual virtual 3D build of the Eiffel Tower build inside SL. This is not a photo of the real tower nor is it a digital 2D creation. The fact it is an actual 3D model inside SL is what made this tower so intriguing to take photos of it and create this art.

I happened upon a gorgeous "Paris" themed Sim in Second Life. The Eiffel Tower on the Sim was so beautiful and a perfection of an SL Build, that I had to capture it as a photo and make it the basis for a photo art creation.

I suspected most that would end up taking photos of this iconic landmark would likely make it a typical postcard photo. I wanted something completely different. The thought of Paris as it greets the "End of Days" came to my mind.

So this is what I came up with. As you look at the photo art (a real deviation hehe), imagine the ominous fires in the sky as they build around Paris's most noted landmark. It stand proudly awaiting its inferno doom. The trees - still green - at the base of the tower, yet only seconds from their own non-existance.

This "green" of life vs the "red" fires of destruction in such close proximity illustrates the extreme contrast and symbolizes how close life exists blissfully within seconds of death.

Thanks to MUFFET1 for the use of his "Red Sky Texture" deviant art work that an important aspect to the build of these fire skies.

(This is a Photo Manipulation art piece from a photo(s) taken within the virtual 3D worlds of SecondLife (aka SL). For those not aware of SL, in-world photography of content created in SL for use in or out of SL if taken on lands permitted to take virtual photography is agreed to by all residents that use the SL service and display their creations in SL - as part of a Terms of Service agreement with LindenLab.
